I am feeling pretty bored since the last days because the weather became really bad with much rain and windy conditions and so it´s hard to get a time on the bike. Not nice when you are pumped to ride and want to get back in old form. Last week I jumped a show at a press event for the ramp 2 ramp tour in Nürnberg which is nearly my hometown. Looking forward to it. After this one of my bikes got loaded for the IFMXF Event in Riga and I spent some days to get my other bike ready for riding. Since the last news some time past by and i put only some updates on my homepage. I don´t wanted to support the crash series too much…

It´s sad that so many friends crashed in the last weeks- like Maddo who crashed only one week after my crash because of loosing the bike at a nohand flip, Petr Pilat who stucked at the handlebar at doing a striper flip, Libor Podmol broke his foot and my good friend Alvaro hat a horror crash too some weeks ago. Get well soon my friends - and I hope the same for me too.

My shoulder is still painful in some movements and the problem is that I need those movements to get my favourite tricks done ;o). Man, the crash at the Baja 300 event is 9 weeks ago and I still feel it. I am allowed to ride because nothing is broken and ligaments are not ripped apart or stuff like this. It´s seem that the “soft parts” are pretty irritated from the hard impact and maybe there are still some swellings inside the shoulder joint. Some time and good physiotherapy should help me to get it fixex. I have every 2nd day some physio uses for about 4 hours each with electricity, massage, special movements and of course some exercises to make the muscle strong again.

On 19th august I was in Bestensee / Berlin for the Upforce Atze Jam. There was the complete Upforce Crew for some show acts and beside that we had a rookie contest. Good weather, nice park with some lines and friendly people - good day. At 11th august I have been in Sweden for the 2nd international SX & FMX event. It was up to rider like Mike Mason, Dustin Miller, Jack Rowe, Fred Johanson, Fred Bergren, Busty and me to perform a great show during the event. The event was great and the organisers did everything to make us riders a good time. Racing was fun too and with some big names like Andrew Short, Michel Byrne and and and it was very exciting to watch.

The 25th Juli was my crash day at the Baja 300 Event. It was a special event with big names like Jesse James, Rallye-Star Petter Solberg or Motocross-Ass and Dakar-Winner Cyril Despres and of course FMX can´t be missed on such an event with around 20.000 spectators. The location was huge , a area where they dig for sand since many years, and we had 3 jumps but in the end we used only one because of the wind and rain which was showing up from time to time. In the evening we had better conditions and I decided to use the chance for a good trainings session. All was great and fun till the no hand flip--- at the point where I wanted to grap my handlebar again my bike moved forward between my legs suddenly and I needed to “re-grap” and got a bit twisted. Landed in a whole as well and then made it down the landing in “rodeo style” till the big baaaaaam stopped the ride.Damn, bike was bended, headache, shoulder hurt and my finger felt strange and really warm… uuuhh, never tought that a finger can bleed as much as my did. I had a cut till the bone and ripped partly the extension ligament above the finger joint. It was great to feel how they cleaned the cut and worked on it….In hospital it got stiched and after 10 days I was allowed to start moving it slowly. I was nearly 2 years without big injuries so I think I can be happy with that but I hope the next injury will not come in the next 3 years ;o).

On 08. Juli I took part at the german championship contest in Sternberg. We jump at an awesome spot direct on the market square in the middle of the city.The wind was blocked from the houses around and the sun invited many
spectator to this special event. All rider had a good time and in the final got 1th followed from my upforce buddy Freddy Peters.
