RECAP X GAMES MUNICH

The FORTY8 crew went to Munich to capture some impressions of the X Games premiere in Germany. Check out the huge gallery of Best Whip, Step-up and Speed & Style captured by Gerd Rose and Marcel Petke.

On friday night the X Games Best Whip, Step-up and Speed & Style competition took place in the Olympic Arena. The Spaniard Edgar Torronteras dominated the Best Whip competition by doing definitely the best Turndown- and Pancake Whips. Nevertheless Jeremy Stenberg won the competition because the voting was counted via Twitter

The Step-up was a great surprise for the European FMX scene, because Libor Podmol beat the specialists Buyten and Renner and took home the gold medal.

Mike Mason is the man to beat in Speed & Style. He rode fast, made great extended tricks and collected another Speed & Style Gold medal.

The Freestyle Competition had to be cancelled due the rainy weather conditions. But we made some pictures in the training session the day before.
