Nick Franklin | Back in Europe
Column written by Nick Franklin

Hey everyone,

I'm finally back in Europe after an early departure at the end of 07. Unlike past years I've come back with loads of practice and a few new tricks up my sleeve.

I did a few shows in NZ before I came over, I jumped at a Blues super 14 Rugby game which I'd compere to a UAFA football game here in Europe.

I had only been on the bike a few times before it but it all went sweet. I also jumped at the Mount for at friends shop which was cool and I got to try some of my new flip tricks and also the front page of the Mount times.

I'm stoked the Kiwi weather was cracking and I got so much quality training and learnt Super flips as well as a few other variations.

I also jumped off the Auckland harbour bridge for C4 television on leap day on my mini bike which was a good buzz cos I'd never bungy jumped before.

I have a busy few months ahead of me now in Europe. I just did a show in Kamp-Lintford in Germany at one on the oldest moto tracks in Europe in front a a few thousand people and I pulled my superflip on an average landing so I was stoked.

I fly to Turkey next week for 4 Red Bull shows then in a few weeks time I'll ride the FMX show at the famous Eurzberg Enduro.

And next month I'll be going back to Turkey for more shows and also up to Latvia for a comp. I'll be putting in some more good practise at the new FMX4ever compound in Belgium in between shows, I'm on a really good learning buzz at the moment so I'll see what I can pull out!
